Last year, we as a Cardiology Nursing Department had the opportunity to receive 2 times a beautiful interactive and interesting course from Excellus! Offered a customized course focused on the practice of the Cardiology nursing unit. Items covered included the ABCDE method, comprehensive BLS and AED training, MEWS tools and the SBARR method. This was explained and practiced through various scenario training sessions focused on the Cardiology patient. Based on the knowledge present, more and more depth was added and rhythms and ECGs were also covered. The instructors were both approachable and approachable, everything could be discussed and there was a safe learning environment where the team could also practice with each other in how to work together in acute situations.
